To get to Polk Cemetery, south of Dierks on Hwy 4 go 1 ½ mile. Turn east and go 5 mile (to the end of the road) Turn south and go about 1 ½ mile. Turn east and go abt 1 1/4 mile. The cemetery sets on the south (right) side of the road and at some times of the year can be hidden from the road going this direction.The cemetery is rather scattered. But the names were taken from the back of the cemetery to the front. Many of the graves are in high weeds and have to be searched for.
