Annual Confederate Reunion abt 1900 on the bank of the Cossatot River.

This photo and information was provided by Kathryn Sterne. If you can identify any of the approximate 48 men please contact Kathryn or Kathy Hudson . The men who attended the reunion were from South West Arkansas, North East Texas and South East Oklahoma. The notes that came with the photo stated that the veterans pictured include a Confederate Major from Foreman, AR, a man from Idabel, OK named IGO, and an intellectual named MEREDITH from Ben Lomond, AR


Sevier Co. courthouse steps the late 20's or early 30's- James Isham Latimer is the 4th from left on top row. Others are unknown. His daughter said one of them is a Grady. I think (?) that the one the left of him is the Grady who was sheriff about that time.This photo and information was provided by Corene Latimer

The only people I can identify is top row, upper left Moss Hendricks, and next to him Margie Hitchcock. On the bottom roll I know there are couple of Hitchcocks but not exactly sure of exact names.

my father's home that stood at 720 Haes Ave. in DeQueen. My grandfather, Judge B. E. Isbell, bought it in the mid 1890s. It burned to the ground in the late 1960s.

The mill in King, Ar. about 1900-1910


This is the remains of the Locke Nall Grist Mill on the Little Cossatot River. This Mill was in operation in the 1880's through the turn of the century. It was the business of George Henry Nall and the Locke Family. IN 1882, the Arkansas Architectural Commission certified these remains as that of an old mill.1939-40This photo and information was provided by mikeandlauri@sbcglobal.net
